Qualifies for Registered Aromatherapist (R.A.) & Essential Oil Therapist
(EOT) Designation and as Continuing Ed Credits for Registered Massage Therapists.

FAST TRACK: Course to begin in October 2010. 16 week correspondence with 30 hours of class time required. This is provided as a forum for the student to review ask questions about course material. Entire course to be completed within a 6 month period from starting date. Exam optional (Cost: $100), but must be completed along with 30 case studies to be eligible to apply for RA and EOT designation.

Module 1 - (HOME STUDY) Aromatherapy theory, practice & blending. 77 essential oil profiles
Module 2 - (HOME STUDY) Anatomy & physiology

EXAMS: Written exam and case studies.

TUITION: Module 1 & 2. Cost: $995.

SUPPLIES: (Not included in tuition). 3 Textbooks are required for course (approx $150). Essential Oil Kit: $285

AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE

Aromatherapy Massage is an add-on module that offers hands on instruction. It incorporates the use of essential oils and bodywork.

The massage techniques used in the full-body massage will incorporate strokes from the traditional Swedish massage, accupressure, shiatsu and reflexology. Generally an aromatherapy massage is slower and more relaxing than traditional massage. Your aim is to bring the client into a state of deep relaxation, a parasympathetic state. It is only when the body is completely relaxed that it can start to heal itself.

10 classes - 2.5 hours each. Hands-on learning of the Aromatherapy Massage, including Lymphatic Drainage Techniques at our school.

TUITION: $985.00

SUPPLIES: Course includes carrier and essential oils used during class.

PRE-REQUISITES: Student is currently taking or has completed an aromatherapy and anatomy/physiology course.
